A role-based security architecture for Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or Microsoft Windows 2000 Server (Service Pack 4) that can be used in any application requiring role-based authorization, such as ASP.NET Web applications or Web services. It consists of a run-time environment and a Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in tool that enables network administrators to define roles, assign users and groups to application roles, and create application groups based on an employees job role or an organizations structure.
